Security breach on the old website

Message to members of the Tommy Carruthers website

It has come to our attention that the old Tommy Carruthers website was hacked into last year in September and a list of user names and passwords of members of the Tommy Carruthers website was published on the internet. The list mainly includes hundreds of accounts registered on the old forum which we did not move to the new website. This security breach occurred on the old website, the new website is much less vulnerable to this kind of attack. If you have had an account since the old website and you haven't changed your password since last September then there is a small chance that your current login and password combination is also on this list and so we would urge you to immediately change it to prevent any possible misuse of your account.
